Okay, got my answers from some #occupywallstreet folks. They are neither pro nor against Obama. they are people upset at everybody, although I think Obama's people might use it in their reelection ads against whoever might be the Republican they'll run against.
While this movement might appear be the answer to the Teaparty, it will lead to no results, if their efforts are not centralized and focused on specific issues. Some of these presidential candidates might just need to go out and be seen as standing with Wall street protestors. Perhaps it is too late for that. The people are very angry. These are the same people who energized the Obama campaign in 2008. Your "independents", your middle class, who feels, and rightly so, that it has been screweed. By whom? By the same people who helped fund fancy political fundraisers. By the same Wall Street fat cats who donated to presidential campaigns. Goldman Sachs ring a bell? The energy is real, palpable. These people cannot and will not be fooled this time around.
Hope and change? Try and sell that to this angry mob, this time around. That is not an invitation. It is a dare, Mr. Obama.
